Hello friends ,
So Here I am , with not much to do , many plans to complete and many things to accomplish but the list is neverending , confusing me to no wits and not knowing where to start from, I never end up starting actually. Just 5 minutes back I was passing my time on facebook as I usually do , Its more like killing my time. This social networking sites I tell you are a big waste of time but at the same time they are some unregistered form of narcotics which donot let you get off their hook and you invariably end up wasting hours staring at the screen , anticipating updates and messages which hardly matter in your life. They play the game of making you used to things which you normally donot. For eg You may never have wanted to keep checking if any of your friends are online but these sites offer a temptation which is hard to resist .Just by a button click you can know who is online and who is not and even if you are not looking for someone, the lure of getting to know the unknown that who the hell is online at this hour is something which is really difficult to resist. Now this blog which I am writing is due to miss amruta mehta urf charsi , she asked me this one question "so you are not blogging? " and I was like yeah , I should blog ! I occassionally need such a push not because I dont have a functioning brain of my own but its because there are somethings I dont get to doing easily , blogging seems to be one of them . I thought I will write about what I did and how my show went yesterday, in which infact I had an amazing discussion with people all over the world about what they think about live in relationships but this blog is going in any direction but that. So getting back to the social networking sites I believe that they being a nuisance on one hand, are a very handy tool to keep in touch with people , to let them know what is happening in your lives and also getting to know whats happening in theirs . Also they are upcoming models for social marketing . People have become mere commodities which are constantly trying to sell themselves in the open market but well thats how it is .Unfortunately today the one who is silent is hardly noticed so one should be careful not to be silent and at the same time even more careful not to be too loud too.Its important to be eloquent but only enough to be heard that is my phliosophy. You may agree to it ,you may not but well thats what I think about people marketing on the social networking sites because after all its about relations and socializing.I donot see it as a market to sell your self or your products and all.If you manage to by just letting the people know, its well and good but I have seen many people screaming it out and shouting it out ,I guess it just doesnot go down too well with me .
Gosh, what was I planning to write and what I have ended up writing . :)
The plan for the day is take my friend for shopping , she needs to buy the A&F slippers I recently bought and she loved them so I am going to take her shopping for those and many other things.Later on I have to run some errands at home but the exciting part today is the party in the evening that is going to be totally fun and crazy , like our parties usually are .So , looking forward to a day of fun and delight :D
My blog wagon shall keep on moving further as the days shall progress.Till then I shall take your leave as I need to get ready ,Shopping remember ?? :P
So , take care and stay safe till the next time . this is DJ CUB signing off :P like I say on my shows.ciao! :D

Well, who knew there is a fine writer lurking inside you. Oh yes, social networking sites definitely are addictive. I believe Internet itself is addictive. Social networking websites are also a form of narcissism. People show off, desperately seek comments on their pictures and status updates etc. But everyone has a narcissistic streak which only seems to come out on facebook :P
ReplyDeletep.s looking forward to the party!
